In this moderated discussion, led by Silverado's Co-Founder and Executive Director Dmitri Alperovitch, a panel of lawmakers and policy experts will discuss the national security challenges stemming from America's dependence on East Asia for semiconductor manufacturing. The panel will also explore the policy solutions contained in the U.S. Innovation and Competition Act, including increased investments in its domestic semiconductor industry, deepened cooperation with like-minded countries, expanded protections against intellectual property theft and unfair trade practices for its foreign investments, and other policy tools to compete with China on the global stage.
