- Mexico continues to be the leading source of total U.S. imports of vehicle parts as well as most vehicle part categories.
- Asia is the leading source of U.S. imports of batteries for vehicles, with China accounting for 40 percent of U.S. imports, followed by Japan (16 percent) and South Korea (14 percent).
