About
John Corrigan is the Vice President of Policy for Trade and Industrial Strategy at Silverado Policy Accelerator. In this role, Mr. Corrigan develops Silverado’s trade policy proposals around issues including industrial efficiency, technological competitiveness, and economic security to maximize durable, broad-based U.S. growth and employment. Prior to joining Silverado, he served as Senior International Economist at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. In that role conducted economic and statistical analyses to advance U.S. trade negotiations and enforcement actions, often with a focus on trading partners’ strategic industrial policies in sectors essential to U.S. national security. Prior to joining USTR, John conducted trade remedy investigations involving metals and other industrial products at the U.S. Department of Commerce and advanced U.S. commercial interests throughout Southeast Asia at the US-ASEAN Business Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish Literature from Lafayette College and master’s degrees in Global Economy and Strategy from Yonsei University and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
